Overview

City Connect required a centralized logistics operations system to manage the complete journey from initial customer enquiry to final delivery. The platform needed to coordinate leads, staff assignments, quotations, consignments, warehouses, trip sheets and multi-stage goods movement without changing the consignment’s permanent LR number.

The Goal

The objective was to replace fragmented operational processes with one secure dashboard that provides clear ownership, live movement visibility and role-specific access. The system also needed to support consignments travelling through multiple trips and warehouses while maintaining a consistent LR identity and a complete operational history.

What We Built

We developed a responsive logistics management platform with dedicated workflows for leads, confirmed leads, consignments and trip sheets. The application supports RM assignment, follow-ups, quotations, master data, warehouse movements and consignment-level status management. A movement-based model allows the same consignment to travel through multiple trip sheets without creating a new LR number. Dynamic LR generation uses the latest movement leg while retaining previous LR versions for reference. Role-based permissions provide appropriate access for Super Admins, Supervisors, Relationship Managers, Warehouse Managers and operational users. The platform also includes calendars, configurable LR numbering, document uploads, bulk printing, advanced filtering, customer search, reporting and export tools.
